What the course is: Updated in July 2024, this course aims to introduce safeguarding to educators working in an educational setting. It provides information on the terminology used and explains the key roles of individuals.

Successful safeguarding practice is crucial in schools and all other educational settings. If pupils feel safe they will be ready to engage in learning and all aspects of school life.

Not only does the course provide content to read but it also shows diagrams and pictures to help better understand the information. At the end, there are questions to answer. And, if you feel like you may forget the content, don't worry! The course lets you download the information about everything covered so you can view it later.

This ensures that educators are fully equipped with up-to-date knowledge to protect those in their care. By completing this course, professionals demonstrate their commitment to maintaining the highest safeguarding standards in education.

The three parts:

The first part of the course highlights the core content very clearly with questions to answer at the end.
