SEMH Teaching Assistant- Maidenhead

Are you passionate about shaping children's futures through education? This role is a 5 day a week full time position in a special school for children with complex needs. this includes wheelchair bound children, ASD, etc.

Prior Experience:
Experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferable, but any work with children in the UK is essential for a reference.

The Role:

  • Assist teachers in creating a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide 1:1 support for SEMH children and small groups.
  • Help organise and implement educational activities inside and outside the classroom.
  • Motivate and encourage children's learning and progress.

Requirements:

  • Availability Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 4 pm.
  • Previous experience working with children is preferred.
  • Comfortable supporting SEND children on a 1:1 basis.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Child-Only DBS.
  • Local to Maidenhead or within a commutable distance.
