Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for SEND Teaching Assistants in the Hemel Hempstead area for a SEND school. This is a full-time position, with working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, and candidates must be available to start immediately. Previous experience working with children in the UK is essential, and SEND experience is highly desirable.

If your registration is successful, you will participate in a 2-week paid trial period. This is a temp-to-perm role, contingent on a successful trial.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 support to SEND students or assist in small groups as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
• Work closely with teachers as a SEND Teaching Assistant to create a supportive and engaging environment for each student.
• Ensure that all students receive the necessary support as a SEND Teaching Assistant, both inside the classroom and throughout the school.
• Support the overall development of SEND students in your role as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
• Collaborate with other SEND Teaching Assistants to provide the best possible learning experience for students.

Requirements:

• Available Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
• Able to start in January as a SEND Teaching Assistant
• Have a Child & Adult only DBS or willing to apply for one.
• Experience working with SEND children.
• Live in the Hemel Hempstead area or able to commute to the area.
