Job description
We're searching for full-time SEND Teaching Assistant in High Wycombe who have worked with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs, or in care settings.
The Role:
- As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will have atleast one year of SEND experience in a school, childcare or care setting;
- As a SEND Teaching Assistant You will support children with emotional and behavioral difficulties to enable them to effectively access the curriculum;
- As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will demonstrate high levels of care, concern and ambition for our children;
- Have relevant skills and experience to serve a diverse student community including learners with ASC and SEMH.
- As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will deliver activities on a 1:1 and small group basis
Requirements:
- Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
- Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment is preferential but you must have previous experience with children in some capacity in the UK
- Enjoy working with children and seeing them progress with their learning
- Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
- Either live in High Wycombe or within a commutable distance
