SEND Teaching Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to start immediately at a fantastic school in Abbots Langley!

We are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant in Abbots Langley, with an immediate start available. Prior experience working with children in the UK is essential. In this role, you will support students across various classes, some of which include SEND pupils, so comfort and experience working with SEND students is crucial.

The Role:

• Provide support across different classes, some of which include SEND students, as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
• As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will offer 1:1 support and/or assist small groups of students.
• Collaborate with teachers and other Teaching Assistants to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.
• Provide consistent support to pupils, recognising and responding to their individual needs as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
• Work alongside other Teaching Assistants to ensure SEND students receive the best possible support across the school.

Requirements:

• Available Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
• DBS checked or willing to apply for one.
• Experience working with children in the UK.
• Live in the Abbots Langley or able to commute to the area.
