Reception Teaching Assistant

Currently looking for a Reception Teaching Assistant in Caversham for an Immediate start

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a superb school in the Caversham area as a Reception Teaching Assistant. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm, where you will provided 1:1 support.

Prior experience working as a Reception Teaching Assistant would be preferable, but you must have experience working with children in some form of capacity (in the UK) where you can obtain a reference for this.

The Role:

• As a Reception Teaching Assistant you will need to aid teachers and other colleagues in creating a safe, fun and inclusive learning environment for all children
• Support children including SEN children, working with them on a 1:1 level or small groups as a Reception Teaching Assistant
• Aid teachers in organising and implementing educational activities both inside and outside the classroom as a Reception Teaching Assistant
• Support children's learning by motivating, encouraging and support their educational progress as a Reception Teaching Assistant

Requirements:

• Able to work Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm
• Must have a level 3 Early years foundation studies diploma
• Comfortable providing support for SEN children on a 1:1 level
• Have or willing to obtain a Child only DBS
• Live local to Caversham or within a commutable distance
