Job description

We are seeking a qualified Primary School Teacher to join a primary school in Langley for a long term position, with the potential for a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Year 4 students (Key Stage 2) in the upper school, delivering high-quality lessons and fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 4 (KS2).
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, catering to diverse student needs.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to contribute to the school community.
  • Participate in PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) activities.

Requirements:

  • You must have Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience teaching in KS2 is desirable but not essential
  • Be an excellent communicator and have great behaviour management
  • Have a 'child workforce only' DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
