PRU Teacher Wanted for Primary Special Needs School in Slough

Are you an experienced and passionate teacher with a heart for supporting children with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a PRU Teacher to join a wonderful Primary Special Needs School in Slough. The school is looking for a dedicated educator who can provide tailored learning for students in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Role:

As a PRU Teacher, you will:
✅ Deliver engaging and personalised lessons for children with various special educational needs (SEN).
✅ Create a safe and structured learning environment for students who have faced challenges in mainstream education.
✅ Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure every child's needs are met.
✅ Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and carers.
✅ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' personal and academic growth.

Requirements:

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
✔ Experience teaching children with special educational needs, particularly in a PRU or similar setting.
✔ Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage children with challenging behavior.
✔ Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
✔ A compassionate, patient, and creative approach to teaching.
✔ DBS check required (we can assist with obtaining one if necessary).
✔ Located in or near Slough or able to commute easily.
