Job description
We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work within a fantastic SEND School, located in the Richmond area. The school has 4 classes for learners aged 4 and 12, offering Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Music Therapy to students based on their individual needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will need to be confident in supporting children with complex needs and support them with their learning, development and personal growth.
This will be a full time role, from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. As a Teaching Assistant, you will need to be confident in supporting children with complex needs and supporting them with their learning, development and personal growth.

The Role:
- Support a child with their learning and development as a Teaching Assistant
- As a Teaching Assistant you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive & engaging learning environment
- Build a close bond with the child to ensure they feel comfortable both inside & outside the classroom
- Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure the progress of students is prioritised as a Teaching Assistant
- Work 1:1 with the child to ensure they achieve their developmental milestones
Requirements:
- Available Immediately, Mon-Fri 8:30-4
- Willing to support SEND children with complex needs as a Teaching Assistant
- MUST have a CHILD ONLY DBS or willing to get one
- Have experience with children in some capacity whereby you can provide a reference
- Live local to Richmond or within a commutable distance
