Classroom Assistant

The School:

• Very diverse with pupils from different faiths and backgrounds.
• The school works well with the community and parents.
• The pupils consistently act with integrity and cooperate well with others.
• the school actively encourages extracurricular activities

The Role:

• As a Classroom Assistant you will need to support pupils in a 1:1 capacity within this position.
• Support pupils with their initial growth and development as a Classroom Assistant
• Support children who have ASD/ADHD in mainstream classes
• Build a rapport with each child and provide emotional support

Requirements:

• Available to work 08:30 to 16;00, Monday to Friday
• Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment is preferential but you must have previous experience with children in some capacity
• Enjoy working with SEN children.
• Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
